The opening of the doha jewellery And Watches Exhibition 2015 was celebrated with HE Sheikh Ahmedbin Jassimbin Mohamed Al Thani, the Minister of Economy and Commerce, and special VIP guests in February.
Exhibitors at the exhibition, who came from all corners of the world, expressed satisfaction with the good visitor turnout and sales made at the show.
Jewelry artist and goldsmith Davide Maule showcased an extensive collection of designs in Doha.
He creates his designs with passion, saying, “Only man’s hand is able to give a soul to a work of art; to give that finishing touch, that warmth and some how that imperfection that make it unique and unrepeatable.
”With over twenty years of experience as goldsmith and designer, Davide Maule has worked with important and well-known fashion houses in Valenza.
Renowned jeweler Laviere exhibited for the first time in the show in the Fifty One East Pavilion.
After generations of cutting fine gemstones, the company began creating its own jewelry designs.
Laviere is exclusively dedicated to fine jewelry creations designed with emerald, sapphire, tanzanite, ruby and highgrade diamonds.
Since 1969, Laviere´s founders have cut many highly sought after colored gemstones from famous mine in Colombia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and Brazil.
Their stunning designs captured the attention of many visitors to the show in Doha.
The House of Pasquale Bruni, established in 1997, exhibited their jewelry collections where they merge long-standing tradition with modern design techniques to produce today’s jewelry. Rings, pendants, earrings and necklaces rounded out the collections on display.
Other high-end jewelers also exhibited at the show, such as Cartier, Chopard, Graff, and Van Cleef & Arpels, as well as the world’s leading watchmakers.
