The Gem Testing Laboratory of "NGJA" which was established in 1972 was entrusted with the task of issuing authentic Gemstone Analytical Reports, with the view to gain confidence and integrity in International gem trade. The laboratory is presently staffed with internationally trained Gemologists with internationally accepted professional qualifications.

Our laboratories are equipped with most advanced gem testing equipment to offer the best services during the shortest possible time frame. Coloured Gemstones Reports

The "NGJA" coloured Gemstone Certificates are designed to identify the species and variety of a coloured gem.

The "NGJA" coloured stone report clearly states whether the stone is natural or synthetic, provides other data describing its shape, cut , weight, measurements, Colour, transparency and major optical characteristics. The treatments (Heat/Unheated, beryllium…..etc.,) are disclosed on the report according to the customer requirements. An authentic "NGJA" Laboratory Report is the common language of trust and confidence in the gemological world.

Buying a Gem with a "NGJA" Cerificate

You will know exactly what you are buying. Every important factor you need to know about the stone is described in the Certificate. The seller knows exactly what he/she is selling to you so as to avoid any misunderstandings in the future.

NGJA has equipped itself with the most technologically advanced equipment available for the use in the identification and authentication of colored gemstones. The following instruments are used for in-depth analysis of gemstones, in the NGJA Gem Testing Laboratory.
