Bharat Diamond Bourse, Worlds largest Diamond Bourse with over 5000 members opened its first edition of Bharat Diamond Week. Over 100 exhibitors of Loose Diamonds prepared for a showdown to more than 500 buyers and members of the New York Diamond club over a period of 3 days. In his inaugural speech Anup Mehta President Bharat Diamond Bourse stressed on the need for more such events and complimented the exhibitors and registered visitors for the encouragement shown. He also did not rule out organising two editions of Bharat Diamond Week in one year. HE Edgard Kagan spoke on the importance of the "Bridge" that has been built between India and the US and said this "Bridge" needs to be maintained and made stronger with time.

The event will be organised over 3 days starting today with a gala dinner sponsored by Belgian Airlines slated to happen on the 2th of this month.
